Guest Post: DIY Dogs

As valued members of this household, it seems fitting that we share our insight into this whole remodeling process.

As evidenced here, we like to stick our noses where we can be part of the action.  We will also sit pretty for treats if asked.

Our people use 2 baby gates and various pieces of furniture to keep us out of the action most of the time.  We also like to ask to go outside right after they have barricaded us out of the area they are in--even if we were just out. We love the big project days the most though, because then we get to go to doggie day camp and play while they work. They say they like how tired we are when we come home.

Speaking (woof!) of being tired when we get home--we enjoy a soft place to sleep.  Without any carpet in the house, this has been a bit of a challenge.  Usually after we circle around for awhile, we convince the humans to bring our beds back out and all is good.

The worst part of the process?  Each of us learning exactly once what the carpet tack strip was and that we didn't want to find it again!

Don't tell our humans, but we heard them talking and heard them say that we get to go to day camp again tomorrow when the carpet comes!  We are sure we could help, but daycare will be fun too!

Time to get back to our naps.  We'll update you on our landscaping projects another day.
