Water Play

One of the projects on our list is backyard landscaping.  We need to kill off some weeds/overgrown grass, trim shrubs, add decorative rock, add plants, etc.  We got a start on the backyard project today.

We put in a pool!  It's definitely big enough to cool off on a hot day like today.

 Kona is learning to enjoy the water--she just needs a good role model!

...and a little time to herself without Java to learn things like how to get that floating stick.  

Did I mention that Kona graduated from her intermediate doggie class too?  She did!  She's learned a bunch in the few short months we've had her.  She also learned how to high five the day she "graduated."  Now she just walks up to us and smacks us with her paw.  Yes, even to wake us up in the morning.  Here's to getting that skill to only occur after the high five command!
